Thanks for the thread and subsequent posts. The one thing I'd wonder about going forward with the UAD stuff is if/when they are going to AAX compatible plugs for when PT11 comes out. That's why I say to not get a Solo but at least a Duo or even Quad. As to UAD's chart I interpret it as saying that in your example you can only run that specific number (max) of plugins and the DSP chips are full.
I'd get the UAD Apollo Duo instead of one of the pcie cards, although if you really need to go that route then get a Duo the Solo really isn't worth it. 22 x 1176LN and the card DSP is full and i can't add more plugins to it? I don't wanna fully mix using UAD plugins, I just wanna have an addition to what i have. I'm considering getting UAD-2 either Solo or Duo. I was searching forum but I didnt find anything more specific.
